| | Ultra Portable Pylon - Materials
Per pylon you need:
1 - 1 1/4" CPVC x 10 ft pipe for mast
2 - 1 1/2" CPVC x 10 ft pipe for legs
1 - 1" CPVC x 10 ft pipe for masthead and mast joiner
2 - 6" x 1/4-20 Zinc coated bolt
3 - 2" x 1/4-20 Zinc coated bolt
5 - 1/4-20 Zinc coated nut
8 - 4 1/4" x 1/4" Clothes line hooks with two 1/4" nuts
2 - 4 ft section of 1" link chain - light duty 1 inch link is enough - Lowes Home Improvement Stores have Campbell #6 White (or yellow) Plastic Chain which is
MUCH lighter, and plenty strong. It will significantly reduce the weight of the pylon, making it easier to carry into place.
