Manufacturer's Comments:When I made the mold I tried something a little different. I made a three sided mold with the fourth side removable. I have heard it called a 'Bathtub' mold. To all appearances my fuselage is seamless. The seams are actually along the bottom corners. Cleverly disguised by the corner radius. I mold the whole thing at once while the resin is all wet. It is a bit of a chore reaching into the corner after the mold is closed, but a lot easier than fixing up seams. |
