As always I do not follow well, so it is a little different to the norm. I will be doing an all composite "conventional tail" VRTF Quickie. I have done a lot of computer work designing a custom airfoil specially for Quickie racing, and my belief in conventional stab arrangement instead of "V" Tails has arrived at the new model. It is being called the "SHOTGUN" ( to blast away the competition )

It will be the first on the market with a full composite fuse ( glass/balsa/glass sandwich with molded in fin and skin hinged rudder ) for extra stiffness to contain the engines power as well as prepainted composite wing and stab. 
The most special part is that the initial market price will be $300, a price unheard of for a competitive Q500 racer.

Prototypes will be flying in early December then production kits available soon after.
