======================================================================= Provided by PylonWorld.com - The pylon racer's information source ======================================================================= QM-40 Planes for RealFlight G2 ------------------------------ These planes are modeled after AMA 422 Quarter Midget 40 airplanes. They are very fast, and have some quirks. Take off -------- Hold some right rudder, a little up and a little right aileron and advance the throttle quickly. If you don't do this, the torque will crash you immediately. These planes have so much power that they leap off the ground. Landing ------- Can't do it. I can't find the right parameters to make them fly right, and still land. You're just going to take off as soon as you crash, so it's no big deal Adjustments ----------- The parameters are very touchy. If you want more throw, adjust the control surface deflection. Be very careful about changing the percentage of the chord that the surface uses. Color Schemes ------------- Any color scheme that works on the P-51 Mustang will work with these models. Where to fly ------------ Obviously you can fly these planes on any RealFlight airport. To get the most realistic racing experience, try flying them on the PylonWorld airport. Go to www.PylonWorld.com and visit the R/C Simulator section, then to the RealFlight Racing section.
